IT'S HARBOUR NIGHT IN FREDERIKSTED

Harbour Night, a Caribbean street festival, will take place 7 p.m.to midnight Wednesday, Dec. 6 on the waterfront at Strand Street in Frederiksted.
Passengers and crew from The Carnival Victory will be welcomed to this Harbour Night. Fifty art and crafts vendors will be selling their wares just in time for Christmas.
Entertainment will be provided by Jamesy, Dem Boys, Pandemonics, Lava, The Karamu Afi Dance and Drum Troupe, and Willard John's Mocko Jumbies.
There is a parking ban on Strand Street in Frederiksted from 5 p.m. until midnight. Cars parked on the street during this time will be towed.
"Crucian Fruits," a musical stage production takes place at Fort Frederik during each Harbour Night, with two shows per evening.
The production is an exciting musical that uses song, dance, and dramatic narrative to explore the Crucian culture. Tickets are $24.95. Locals and hotel guests receive a 40% discount. Times vary.
This event is scheduled every two weeks through April 1, 2001.
