Senate President Vargrave Richards has invited V.I. residents to public hearings on establishing a part-time Senate, as proposed in Senate Bill No. 23-0257:
– on St. Thomas at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 4 in Senate chambers;
– on St. John at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 5 in the Legislative Conference Room;

The bill, sponsored by Richards and Sen. Gregory Bennerson, is a "basic framework for the reform we so desperately need," Richards said in a statement.
