'GATEWAY' PROGRAM TO BE DISCUSSED

A group hoping to rally broad-based Cruz Bay consensus to seek federal support from the National Park Service for town planning will host a second public meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 24, in the Legislature Building. All interested parties are encouraged to attend.
Because of all the tourists who come to Cruz Bay in connection with their visit to the V.I. National Park, the town is potentially able to qualify for the federal assistance to develop and implement a plan for sustained growth. Acceptance into the Gateway Community Program requires commitment of the whole community.
