PETERSON RENAMED TO CASINO COMMISSION

Retired judge Eileen Peterson has been re-nominated by Gov. Charles W. Turnbull to chair the Casino Control Commission, a position she has held since 1996, government house announced.
The nomination must be confirmed by the Legislature, and the governor has asked the body for an expeditious confirmation of his nominee.
Peterson, a St. Croix resident, will represent the legal field on the commission. Her current terms expires in March.
