WATER INTERRUPTION PLANNED FOR FRIDAY

The Water and Power Authority has scheduled a water interruption for 9 a.m. Friday through 5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 6.
The interruption will affect the Contant and Nisky areas.
The disruption will allow Majestic Construction to install storm crossings. The interruption will also allow work to be completed on WAPA's master meter.
Since the water interruption will last for two days, WAPA is encouraging potable water customers to store water and to use cisterns.
The affected area is from Banco Popular on Veterans Drive to Sub Base, including Contant, Soto Town, Scotia Bank, Medical Arts Complex, Inspection Lane, Sea Chest, Ulla Muller School, John Thomas Funeral Home and the Radiator Shop.
WAPA apologized for any inconvenience caused by the water interruption.
