VALENTINE'S BALL A HUMANE AFFAIR

The St. Thomas Humane Society's annual Valentine's Ball, this year dubbed the Millennium Ball, is set for Saturday, Feb. 12, at Marriott's Frenchman's Reef Beach Resort. It will feature music by the Starlites, door and raffle prizes, and a silent auction. The night begins with cocktails at 7 p.m., followed by a sit-down dinner at 8 and dancing to the music of the Starlites band.
Tickets are $100 and are being sold at the Humane Society animal shelter in Nadir, Home Again, Jan-Michael's Hair Studio, Soft Touch Boutique, The Leather Shop, Dr. Andrew Williamson's new animal hospital in Frenchman's Bay, and Imperial Animal Hospital. For reservations and information about purchasing raffle tickets, placing advertising in the program book and donating prizes, call 775-0599 or 776-2469.
