MAHO BAY PAVILION PARTLY CLOSED DUE TO DAMAGE

The southern section of the Maho Bay picnic pavilion in the V.I. National Park has been closed temporarily because of damage caused by Hurricane Lenny, the National Park Service has announced. NPS "hopes to have this problem rectified once hurricane damages funding becomes available," a release stated.
The northern half of the facility remains available for visitor use.
All trails throughout the park have been cleared of debris left behind by Lenny, and brush has been removed from around historic structures, the release said.
