The Love City Pan Dragons Youth Steel Orchestra invites the public on St. John and St. Thomas to join them and the Baby Pan Dragons aboard the M/V Caribe Tide when they transport their steelpans to St. Croix for the last four days of the Christmas/Millennium Festival.
The trip to St. Croix is set for Wednesday, Jan. 5. Those making the round trip will return with the musicians and their pans on Sunday, Jan. 9.
Departure will be at 6 a.m. from Cruz Bay and 6:30 a.m. from Red Hook.
Tickets for adults round trip are $65 in advance and $75 at the dock; those for children are $40. One-way, the cost is $40 for adults and $25 for children. They're available at Our Market/Hospitality Car Rental and Courtesy Car Rental, and from Ira Wade, Elaine Penn, Carla Challenger and any Pan Dragon parent. For more information, call 693-8807.
