SYZYGY MOVES TO LARGER CORAL BAY LOCATION

Coral Bay's Syzygy Gallery has just reopened in an expanded location on the back deck at Skinny Legs.
Syzygy features the hand-wrought mosaic art of Lisa Crumrine, Caribbean-inspired monoprints by Alyson Benford and paintings by Lori Doherty. Also represented are jewelry, fine art and craft work by other St. John artists.
Visitors from St. Thomas can reach the location by bus (fare $1) from Cruz Bay.
The gallery is open from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. To learn more, call 693-0084, e-mail to lcrum@att.net.
And in case you're wondering what the gallery's name means, "syzygy" is a term referring to the alignment, as in an eclipse, of the sun, Earth and moon.
