GOVERNOR DECLARES CURFEW

Gov. Charles W. Turnbull has announced a curfew to go into effect at 9 p.m. Tuesday night and continue until further notice, according to a Government House spokesperson.
When asked how the governor would notify the public, Rina McBrowne, public information officer for the governor, said Turnbull was working with AT & T to establish a 1-800 communications line that could be accessed by the media to obtain updates from the government.
Shelly de Chabert, spokesperson for AT&T, said media will be able to call the number and get pre-recorded information and periodic updates from Government House.
De Chabert was not in charge of the project and therefore did not have the 800 number, but said she would update the Source as soon as she could get more information.
