STUDENTS RECEIVE KUDOS FROM LT. GOV.

Students from the St. Croix Educational Complex Vocational School recently received high-praise after they helped repair seven vehicles in the Lt. Governor's fleet.
"By having the vehicles serviced by students in training, our office saved the government money while allowing our students to gain practical experience," Lt. Governor Gerard Luz James said. "They performed great with our vehicles, and we appreciate that."
Last May, the School's automotive preventative maintenance division of the Diesel Program serviced seven sports utility vehicles in the Lt. Governor's official fleet. As part of their hands-on experience in automotive mechanics, students learned management techniques, produced work orders, made estimates and greeted customers.
James also praised Diesel Instructor Joseph Schrader, Assistant Principals Cassandra Evans and Willard John and Principal Roy Pemberton.
