MAN STABBED FATALLY AT MARKET SQUARE

An investigation is under way into the fatal stabbing of a man Saturday morning in the Rothschild Francis "Market" Square area in downtown Charlotte Amalie.
The man, reportedly stabbed in the abdomen around 10 a.m. near Muhsen's Supermarket, was admitted to Roy L. Schneider Hospital about an hour later and died at 5:53 p.m. Saturday, according to a hospital spokeswoman.
Police records indicate the man was Hispanic and police sources said a suspect was being sought in connection with the killing.
The homicide is the 10th in the territory and the fourth on St. Thomas for the year.
