SIX NEW CIVIL MEDIATORS SWORN IN

Nancy Clark, president of American Mediation Institute Inc., has announced that six people from St. Thomas have been sworn in as certified civil mediators by U.S. Magistrate Geoffrey W. Barnard.
The American Mediation Institute schedules mediation hearings for both District Court cases and Territorial Court matters. They mediate civil and family cases. They do not handle criminal matters.
Attorney David E. Nichols, attorney Dean C. Johnson, Antoinette Johnson, attorney Judith L. Knape, Alphonso Laborde Jr. and Scott T. Schenck have joined the panel of AMI nediators.
Mediators from St. Thomas will travel to the other islands if it is deemed appropriate for reasons of expertise.
Please contact AMI at 777-9500 for a list of certified civil and family mediators.
