ICE CREAM RECALLED

Country Charm Pint Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ice Cream is being recalled due to improper labeling. The ice cream, which is distributed by St. Thomas Dairies, is missing an ingredient on its label.
The ice cream has eggs in it, which is an allergen for some people, according to a release from Licensing and Consumer Affairs. The eggs are not listed on the label. Consumption could cause serious injury to people who are allergic to eggs.
Andrew Rutnik, commissioner of Licensing and Consumer Affairs, said St. Thomas Dairies has been very proactive in getting the product off the shelves.
The recalled containers bear plant code number 17-81.
Rutnik noted anyone who is allergic to eggs should return the ice cream to the store where they purchased it or to St. Thomas Dairies for a full refund.
