READER ASKS TO CLARIFY ARTICLE

Unfortunately, partially due to printing mistakes made on the invitations, your article on your Internet web page is inaccurate and misinformed. The following are the facts concerning this event:
There will be a cocktail party, attended by those couples who donated $1,000.00 to the DCCC on February 28, 1999 at Villa Montana. This cocktail party is sponsored by Tana Mullendore. This event will take place between 5 and 7 p.m. Following the cocktail party, those contributors who have donated $5,000.00 or more to the DCCC are invited to a gourmet dinner to be held at the home of Neil and Annie Weiss. In attendance will be Congressman Patrick J. Kennedy, Congressman Charles B. Rangel, Congresswoman Donna Christian Christainsen, The Honorable Governor Charles Wesley Turnbull, Lieutenant Governor Gerard Luz James II, Senate President Vargrave Richards and numerous other dignitaries of the Democratic Party.
This event is being funded and hosted by B & W Realty Investments, Ltd., which is jointly owned by Neil Weiss and George Blackhall. At Neil Weiss' request, George Blackhall a Republican, graciously consented to having B & W Realty Investments Ltd. fund this portion of the event.
I would appreciated it if the above was disseminated to the public to clarify any misunderstandings as a result of your original article.
Very Truly Yours,
Neil Weiss
