ST. THOMAS DAIRIES EXPANDS ITS DISTRIBUTION LINE

"Ice cream, ice cream, we all cry for ice cream," unless, that is, there's Colombo's frozen yogurt around. The delicious soft-serve dessert will be available on St. Thomas starting March 8 — distributed by St.Thomas Dairies.
The dairy has been selected by the Yoplait-Colombo yogurt division of General Mills, Minneapolis, Minn. as the island's exclusive distributor.
Fred Hintz, president of Trans-Caribbean Dairy Corp., locally known as St. Thomas Dairies, expressed his pleasure at having been chosen to distribute the product.
"The quality of these products make them a natural for the island."
He noted the many St. Thomians who make their way each day to his Udder Delight ice cream stand at the dairy's well-known northside location as evidence of the island's sweet-tooth.
St. Thomas Diaries is a 100 % locally owned company, employing fifty long-term island residents.
