WILLIAMS SCHOOL CELEBRATES HARVEST

Students and staff of Edith L. Williams Elementary School presented Mr. Edwin Thomas, CEO of West Indian Co.,Ltd., with items harvested from the school's project,"Backyard Living Laboratory."
WICO made a donation of $3,000 in Nov.1997 for the original garden. Hurricane Georges destroyed it. It was replanted in Dec.1998 with a variety of vegetables.
All students in grades K-6 participated. Each class has a terrace box of its own.
Principal Rosalia Payne stated that the progect was a tremendous success.
