Mar 29, 2010 - 07:03

Although the second trial of Anselmo Boston and Kamal Thomas was not covered by The Source they were both found guilty on all counts Wednesday March 24, 2010. Kamal was also found guilty of threatening a witness. Although both defenses tried to distract the jury and Boston attempted to disown the statement he gave to officer Phipps the jury saw through their lies. After only 1 1/2 hours of deliberation the jury came back with their guilty verdicts.

Racing yacht MOLTOBENE damages Girls boat and runs away to St Thomas.........
Mar 27, 2010 - 01:03

Sound familiar? Whilst the all girl crew of girlsforsail.com were racing in
the St Maarten regatta, another yacht MOLTBENE caused an incident where the
girls boat was seriously damaged - it was very lucky noone was hurt. Since
the incident, the owner Richard Ewing has avoided coming forward even
though his yacht was DISQUALIFIED by the international committe of judges
under rule 18.2(b).
What should the girls do now???
The yacht ran away from St Martin and is currently now racing in St
Thomas.
CAN THIS BE RIGHT?
CAN THIS BE FAIR
CAN THIS BE SPORTSMANLY?????
We do not think so.

This Testimony was submitted to the Sub Committee on Insular Affairs.

First, let me be clear, I mean no offense or disrespect to anyone who has come to the Virgin Islands seeking a better way of life. This testimony is to put on record as a Native Virgin Islander, we deserve the right to speak to our sovereignty, no matter how long it takes or the challenges we face.

Jan 29, 2010 - 09:01

Not so fast don't think for one minute it is up to the jury. With all the conflicting accounts the judge may very grant a new trial.
