Response to Delegate Donna Christensen's Op-ed
May 10, 2010 - 03:05

To Delegate Donna Christensen:

Madam,

I found some of your comments in the Op-ed, "Biting Off Our Nose to Spite Our Face?", distressing and insulting. You stated that the "tea partyism" folks are "so aroused into blind anger by some of the rhetoric against President Obama's agenda that they are not listening to/not hearing the facts of the issues…"

California Cannabis Act
Mar 29, 2010 - 04:03

The California Cannabis Act is all about politics. Legalizing this drug will make the users go for a higher drug. As we all know, a lot of people are grumbling about the possible passing of the California Cannabis Act, cops and "social reformers" and all sorts of statist, totalitarian tools that don't understand the nature of folks, or reality in general.

Justice for the Cockaynes
Dec 15, 2009 - 03:12

I am writing to express my thoughts and concerns regarding the handling of crime scenes and prosecution of criminals in the USVI.

Having been a resident of the island of St. Thomas for 10 years (1997-2007), paying taxes and being a registered voter, as well as a survivor of a brutal, horrific attack and then going through the justice system myself, I feel I have the right, as well as the perspective to offer my opinions, and suggestions on improving the relationship of the police department and the judicial process with the victims, survivors and family members of same.

The on-going St. John Parking issue
Oct 8, 2009 - 12:10

Does anyone in authority in our Government not see and understand the position that EVERY taxpaying citizen is put in EVERY DAY that they come to Cruz Bay by the simple act of NEVER having solved the St. John ongoing decade-plus Parking issue? Many potential solutions have been offered…yet NOTHING continues.

Nothing.

Year after year…nothing. Administration after Administration…nothing.

This is a reflection on what our present system of government accomplishes for our small Island.
