Hovensa closing is the end of the St. Croix we know today. Maybe now we will stop letting the loud mouths that call into the radio that are happy with the status quo dictate the progress or lack there of on St. Croix. I left the island 12 years ago and every time I visit the island is more depressing. Lack of maintenance and no progress. No new business on an island that has so much resources.

What is the Status of all Delinquent Tax Returns at this time? Simple Question.

We are relying on these funds that you are withholding from us!8 months since tax deadline April 18th and still no refund?This is nuts!When you need money ,you seem to find a way to get it!Any Information to give us? The article mentions that St. Croix had problems with these earlier in the 2000's. I haven't been able to find any current information on St. Croix's Crazy ant status, anyone care to comment?

I read an article on the website, www.demmansay.com about Professor George F. Lord, PhD. Dr. Lord refers to the Virgin Islands as a "two and a half world country". He came here, has obviously learned a few things and hopefully enjoyed our hospitality and now wants to get another job while belittling these islands and its people.

Six weeks ago i called the I.R.B. to inquire about my Tax Return. In Short the lady that i spoke with said they were working on March Returns and my return was received the 1st,of April. This week I called again and was told the same thing still working on March Returns.This is nuts ,the Federal Goverment pays 50 States before the June 1st Deadline.Thats millions of Folks returns! We have 3 Islands and maybe just maybe 50 thousand returns. The Goverment would rather pay 4% on the Returns Due amount, after the Federal Deadline which is June 1st. Again this is nuts!
