Amber Alert Issued for St. Thomas Child Jermaine Henderson

Police on St. Thomas have issued a stateside Amber Alert for 9-year-old Jermaine Henderson.  The minor was last seen at the Cyril E. King International Airport with his maternal grandmother boarding a flight to Florida.

 A report of the missing child was made to police by his father on May 3 who stated that he has had custody of his son for more than a year. He told police he allowed the maternal grandmother to spend time with the child and stay overnight with her on April 30.  He said he was informed by a third party that his son was seen at the airport boarding a flight with his grandmother

 Jermaine Henderson is 4 foot tall and weighs 90 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair.  He has a brown complexion.  A photo of Henderson can be viewed on the VIPD website at vipd.gov.vi
