"Women ... Sowing Seeds of Love, Kindness and Forgiveness" is the theme of the V.I. Christian Women's Conference set for Oct. 15 and 16 at the Holiday Inn Windward Passage Hotel on St. Thomas. A special rate is offered by the hotel for persons from St. John and St. Croix who wish to attend. Advance registration is $35.

The Bahá'ís of the Virgin Islands will join Bahá'ís worldwide in observance of the Martyrdom of the Báb. On Friday, July 9, at noon two public events will be held on St. Croix and one on St. Thomas.

People of the Baha'i faith will join others worldwide to celebrate their New Year, or Naw Ruz, this Sunday, March 21. Naw Ruz, which coincides with the first day of spring, symbolizes life's renewals, rebirth, and anticipates God's blessings for the coming year.
