The 10th Virgin Islands Nonpoint Source Pollution Conference will be held May 6-7, at the Wyndham Sugar Bay Resort & Spa in Estate Smith Bay.

The American Legion will observe its 91^st birthday and Legionnaires of the Virgin Islands will hold a celebration of this significant milestone. District No. 10 has planned an open house at the American Legion Headquarters at No. 2 Hospital Street, St. Croix, on Monday, March 15

The V.I. Resource Conservation & Development Council Inc. (V.I. RC&D) is seeking 9 or 10 Virgin Islands’ high school students between the ages of 15-18 to attend the 2010 Natural Resources Conservation Workshop, to be held June 13-17, at the Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton, Georgia.

The Community Foundation of the Virgin Islands has announced that through the generosity of the residents of the Virgin Islands, it has collected more than $115,000 for the Haitian Relief Fund.

 In recognition of the increased cost of a higher education for today, Rotary Club of St. Croix Mid-Isle has taken bold action to serve the community’s youth. The club has increased the scholarship amount for upcoming scholarships, effective immediately.

The Friends of Virgin Islands National Park announces its annual scholarship program is again being offered to Virgin Islanders at the university level studying in fields related to marine biology or natural resource management and protection.
