 The St. Croix Environmental Association is offering a free Snorkel Clinic. It will be held on Saturday, July 13, at Hotel on the Cay.

 Ham radio operators across the territory will team up with Virgin Islands Territorial Emergency Management Agency (VITEMA) on June 22 -23 to show off their emergency capabilities during the 2013 Field Day, an annual event sponsored by American Relay Radio League (ARRL) (the national association for Amateur Radio) and conducted by the V.I. Amateur Radio Club.

 Generation Now! Inc., in partnership with the Boys and Girls Club, will initiate their M.A.D. (Molding Adolescent Development) Skills Mentoring Program, “The Man- Child Edition.”

 Discover St. Croix Camp teaches children, ages 6 to 12, the culture and history of St. Croix. The camp will be held from June26 to Aug. 3, at Estate Whim Museum.

 St. Croix Federation of Teachers, AFT Local 1826, awarded five $1,000 one-time scholarships in 2013.

 The Friends of the St. Croix East End Marine Park will hold its 3rd Annual Stand-Up Paddle (SUP) fundraiser for the park on Sunday, Sept. 1. Previously, this event has drawn 40 racers, 200 spectators, and raised nearly $3000.

 The Disability Rights Center of the Virgin Islands (DRCVI) in conjunction with the V.I. Developmental Disabilities Council (VIDDC) and the V.I. Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (VIUCEDD) will hold trainings by the United States Department of Education’s Office of Civil Rights.

 On the start of this year’s hurricane season Saturday, June 1, American Red Cross USVI Chapter emphasizes the importance of being prepared for any natural disaster.

 The St. Croix Dolphins Swim Team has been working with public schools teaching children general water safety, proper swimming techniques, and confidence in and around the water since the inception of the “Every Child a Swimmer” program in 2003.
