Here’s what’s on tap at the V.I. Legislature this week.
With schools across the territory getting ready for a Sept. 2 opening date, V.I. Education Commissioner Donna Frett-Gregory told the community the Education Department is focused on "putting in the framework we need to support our students, our teachers and our administrators."
The St. Croix Landmarks Society (SCLS) will present the 25th Annual Starving Artists Day holiday event with art, crafts and musical fun. Tickets are sold at the door; the admission fee is $5 per person; children under 12 years of age enter free.
The event showcases over 60 Caribbean artists, jewelers, crafts persons and food vendors, the Landmarks Society’s cash bar, Dimitri “Pikey” Copemann and the Renaissance Band, and much more.
