Shots Fired amid Night Club Fight

V.I. Police Department officers were called in early Sunday morning after the 911 emergency call center received reports of a disturbance, fights and shots fired at an Estate Castle Coakley night club.

Officers were dispatched at 3 a.m. Sunday to the Aqua Lounge Night Club. According to the police, several fights took place, both inside and outside of the night club, and shots were fired.

Officers arrived at the location in time to see people fleeing from the area. The officers were unable to make any contact with a complainant or witnesses to the fracas. No no reports of injury or property damage were filed.

A search of the area by the officers yielded two live .40 caliber rounds and several spent shell casings.

Police asked anyone with information on the incident to call 911 or the anonymous tip service, Crime Stoppers USVI, at 1-800-222-8477.
