Man Injured by Gunshot in Paradise Mills

A 19-year-old man was shot in the arm in the Paradise Mills Housing community on St. Croix, according to the V.I. Police Department.

The incident occurred just before 8:30 p.m. Saturday in front of Building 2 of the complex. Police said that before the shooting the victim – whose name was not released – may have been involved in an altercation with other people.

The victim was shot in his arm and taken to Gov. Juan F. Luis Memorial Hospital by ambulance.

Officers said the investigation into the matter is ongoing.
