Thursday is Registration Deadline to Vote in Primary

Thursday day is the final day to register to vote in the primary election, the V.I. Elections Office announced.

The elections offices on St. Thomas and St. Croix are open until 5 p.m.

The St. Thomas Elections Office will hold extended hours from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the office at 22 Crystal Gade in Charlotte Amalie.

Those who want to register should bring the following as proof of citizenship:

• Birth certificate.

Advertising (skip)

• U.S. Passport.

• Naturalization certificate.

• a baptismal certificate.

• or form DD214, a military service record.
