Human Services Seeks Missing Teen

The Department of Human Services in conjunction and the Virgin Islands Police Department are looking for 17 - year old Christopher Hardy, who ran away from VI Behavioral Services on St. Croix Thursday.

According to Human Services, Hardy was reported missing to the police Thursday afternoon after he fought with another resident. The report says climbed to the roof of the facility and jumped over the wall.

Hardy is between 5 feet 7 inches and 5 fee, 8 inches tall, has a light complexion with low-cut black hair, and weighs 130 pounds. At the time Hardy fled the facility, he was wearing a white T-shirt with bold black lettering on the front and black three-quarter length jeans.

Hardy is known to frequent the Harborview Apartments, according to the report. People found harboring or aiding Hardy can be arrested and face criminal prosecution.

Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Christopher Hardy or has seen him is asked to notify the Juvenile Investigation Bureau of the VIPD by calling 778-2211.
