Social Security Office Remains Closed After Recent Flooding

The Social Security Office, located at Sunny Isle Shopping Center, will not open to the public until further notice, due to a facilities issue, according to Social Security Administration officials. The office sustained flood damage following heavy downpours on Nov. 7.
According to Area Director Maria Z. Maldonado, the agency plans to reopen the office as soon as possible, once all issues are resolved. In the meantime, customers may seek services through SSA’s National Toll Free Number: 800-772-1213 or at www.socialsecurity.gov.
