Group Health Insurance Offices Have Limited Hours

From Tuesday, Oct. 16 through Friday, Nov. 9, the Group Health Insurance office in both the St. Thomas and St. Croix districts will be open to the public from 8 a.m. to noon each day, according to a press release issued Monday by the V.I. Division of Personnel.
Director Kenneth L. Hermon Jr. stated, “This period of limited office hours is necessary to allow the Group Health Insurance employees to input the large volume of health insurance open enrollment forms received during the open enrollment period which ended on Oct. 11. These changes have to be made timely to ensure that each retiree and employee’s coverage is accurately reported to our health insurance carriers.”
The Group Health Insurance Office will resume normal business hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 13.
In case of an emergency, individuals can contact Rochelle Benjamin, acting chief, at 774-8588.
