Man Charged with Possession of Unlicensed Firearm

Officers on foot patrol in downtown Christiansted early Saturday arrested 21-year-old Jahmel K. Galloway and charged him with on of an unlicensed firearm, the V.I. Police Department reported.

Beach Advisory for May 18-22

The Department of Planning and Natural Resources (DPNR) announces that the Beach Water Quality Monitoring Program, which evaluates weekly water quality at popular swimming beaches throughout the territory, advises the public that these beaches do not meet the water quality standards for swimming or fishing.

REVIVAL AT GREEN PASTURES CHRISTIAN CHURCH

Shepherds Ministries Inc. and Green Pastures Christian Church will hold a revival at 7:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday, April 18 and 19 at 429 King Street, Frederiksted in the Padilla Building.
