Markoe Elementary School Students Showcase Science Projects

Students in the Afterschool Program and Saturday Academy at Claude O. Markoe Elementary School will showcase their work at a Science Projects Exhibit from 3-4:15 p.m. on Thursday, May 2. Principal Kent M. Moorehead invites the public to come out and share in the successes of the students. The exhibit is the culminating activity for the school’s 2012-2013 Extended Learning Program. Viewers of the displays will be encouraged to share ideas with students on site to help them better prepare for the St. Croix School District Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Fair in May.
For more information on Markoe Elementary School’s Science Projects Exhibit, contact Faith Dane George, assistant principal, at 772-4510, ext. 3902.
