Joseph Alexander Powell, age 73, of 15-BC Estate Calquohoun, died Friday, April 13th at Juan F. Luis Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 20 at the James Memorial Funeral Chapel, La Grande Princesse. A viewing will precede the service beginning at 10 a.m.
Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery, Veteran Section.
He is survived by his wife, Elida Matthews Powell; daughters, Pearl Powell and Paulette Powell Williams; sons, Wendell, Alton Sr., Irvin, Steven, Conroy, Neville and Peter Powell; grandchildren, Adony, Alton Jr., Aaron, Abraham, Joel, Adam and Jaydon Powell, Jahmaal Perez, Lamar and Patrick Williams III, Adrianna, Sherena, Abigail, Sherelle, Melanie and Dyarah Powell and Nakia Gibson; sisters, Louise Powell Williams, Ada Powell Acoy, and Sarah Powell James; brother, Arthur Powell; daughters-in-law, Germaine Brown Powell, Rosa Lopez Powell, and Daveen C. Powell; sons-in-law, Patrick Williams Jr. and Clement Langellier; special nephews, Paul and Henry Samuel; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
