HILDA ‘MITZPAH' ADAMS IRVIN SERVICES SATURDAY

Hilda Viola Adams Irvin, known to her friends as "Mitzpah," of #306 Barren Spot, formerly of Ralph DeChavert Housing Community, died Thursday, April 5 at Southern Regional Medical Center in Riverdale, Georgia. She was 72.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 14 at First Assembly of God in Christiansted. A viewing will precede the service beginning at noon.
Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her son, Rowan Irvin, sister, Ruth Adams, and brothers, Javas and Joseph Weatherill.
She is survived by her daughters, Victerlyn Hazelwood, Verona Marsh, and Sandra Francis Johnson; sons, Tyrone Hazelwood, Oswald Marsh, Elsworth Francis, Emmeth Irvin, Dion Irvin; step-children, Pink Irvin and Junie Irvin; grandchildren, Roselyn, Chantelle, Tyrone II, Jerome, Mitchelle, Javid, Troy, Sophia, Florence, Oswald Jr., Teandra, Netpha, Tricia, Alicia, Tiffany, Anthony, Alex, Tyrone III, Iteba, Elsworth Jr., Darnella, Malachi, Deandra, Aliyah, Shanice, Shakeel, and Dion Jr.; great-grandchildren, Terrell, Malique, Jahhim, and Gabriella; adopted grandchildren, Malcolm and Maisha Martin.
She is also survived by her sister, Naomi Roberts, Faith "Goldine" Phillip; daughters-in-law, Camella Hazelwood, Marilyn Hazelwood, Beverly Marsh, and Brontella Irvin; son-in-law, Robert Johnson; cousins, Augusta and family, Cindy and family, Ms. Emma and family, Ineta and family, Maude Payne and family, Jasmin and family, Sonia and family, Margaret and family, Caroline and family, Ms. Perry and family, and Janet Lewis and family; special friends, Rebecca Cornelius, Gloria Lockhart, Connie Martin, Moses and Mary Pinell, Ms. Vic, Kathy Gittens, Eloise Hazel, Amos, Ms. Joseph, Abraham family, Sonia Leonard, Sheila Andrew, Lue, Vasco, Lesroy James, Marsha and Stedroy Hunt; numerous nieces and nephews, and many other friends and relatives.

Funeral arrangements are in the care of James Memorial Funeral Home.
