IRA A. PETERSEN BENJAMIN FUNERAL MONDAY

Ira A. Petersen Benjamin of Flamboyant Gardens died Saturday, Jan. 13 at Juan F. Luis Hospital. She was 85.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 22 at Lord of God Sabaoth Lutheran Church. A viewing will begin at 10 a.m.
Burial will follow in Kingshill Cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Prince Carl Benjamin Jr., Antonio M. Benjamin, Clyde Benjamin, and Stephan Benjamin; daughters, Miriam Hunt, Mable, Julia Williams, Bernice Benjamin, Beverly Bartholomew, Judith Abdullah; 35 grandchildren; and 66 great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her nephews, Ralph Henley, Edmund Joshua, Claude Molloy, and David Molloy; nieces, June Warner, Mariel Fredericks, Eileen Roberts, Florabelle Abbott, Teresa Molloy, and Anna Ferdinand; daughters-in-law, Natalie Benjamin and Gwendolyn Hunt; sons-in- law, Kenneth Abdullah, and Clayton Williams; very special friend, Minerva Sweeney and her friends at Flamboyant Gardens; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral arrangements are in the care of James Memorial Funeral Home.
