Henry "Chicken George/Mandingo" Watson II, of Bldg. S Apt. 4, L.B.J. Gardens, died Tuesday, Dec. 19. He was 54.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 23 at St. John's Episcopal Anglican Church, Christiansted. A viewing will proceed the service beginning at 10 a.m.
Interment will follow in Kingshill Cemetery.
He is survived by his daughters, Elizabeth and Shermain Watson; sons, Henry III and Orion Watson; grandchildren, Ivor and Cherise Davis, Adona and Kaleem Fleming, Aneffia Joshua, Akeem Cherry, Akiel, Henry III and Laynoya Watson, Renisha Matthew and Reniqua Jawis; sisters, Nadine 0. Watson and Rachell Evans; nieces, Janie Brown, Michell Brown, Simone Evans and Reneé Carter.
He is also survived by great- nieces and nephews, Dominique, Jessica, Nina Simone, Nijae and Nia, Bilal Brown and McNeil ; daughter-in-law, Laiza Santiago; sons-in-law, Wade Abramson and George E. Fleming, Jr.; close friends, Ivan and Spencer Hendrickson and Ivan S. Latimer III; along with many other relatives and friends.
Funeral arrangements are in the care of James Memorial Funeral Home.
