Carlos M. Delgado Dies

Carlos M. Delgado Carlos M. Delgado died on Oct. 8.

He is preceded in death by his father, Domingo Diaz Delgado; mother, Candida Navarro; and son: Carlos M. Delgado Jr.

He is survived by his spouse, Cruz M. Solis Delgado; daughters: Gladys V. Delgado and Glenda L. Delgado (“Glendy”); grandchildren: Shanaliz S. Natta and Jahquan D. Debique; sons-in-law: Trevor Clarke and Spencer Phillip; sisters: Candida, Aida, Luz Delia, Maria and Iris Delgado; brothers-in-law: Efrain Rivera, Luis Acosta and Miguel Solis; aunt, Isabel Diaz Rios; nieces: Maritza Reyes, Norma Estienne, Ricarda Estienne, Luz Feliciano, Ilma Delgado, Carmen Nunez, Louisa Saldana, Lydia Rivera, Jackie Delgado, Ana Velez-Martinez, Elizabeth and Yolanda Acosta, and Diana Ingraham; and nephews: Miguel Rivera, Amedee Santiago Jr., Luis Velez, Roberto Velez, Juanito Velez, Shakur Delgado and Edwin Delgado.

He is also survived by great nieces: Melba Moore, Greismarie Perez, Emily Rosado, Jailene and Clarissa Nunez, Selena Berrios, Stacey and Lissette Almestica, Janelys Christopher, Mahogany Ingraham and Ashley Julien; great nephews: Moises, Jose, Hector and Nicholas Ledesma, Benjamin Rios, D’Andre Friday, Anthony and Angel Suarez, Antonio Julien, DeJahni David Lawrence, Daniel Almestica; favorite great-great nieces: Alaina and Aaliyah Matthew, Jayla Hodge (“Gawla”); and cousins: Alcadia Osorio, Margot Berrios, Julio Aponte, Carmen Cepeda, Miguelina Cepeda, Carlos Cepeda, Marcelo Cepeda, Gigi Cepeda, Elia Cepeda, Evaristo Rios, Hector Rios, Lucy Rios, Laura Rios, Neida Rios, Roberto Rios, Sandra Springette Navarro, Lillian Navarro-Belardo and Aurelia Herrera.

Other survivors include specials friends: Georgie Perez, Elizabeth Bennett, Reynaldo Bennett, Chicho, Shepherd Emile, Castro, Morris Greenidge, Mr. Registe, Raffie, WAPA Crew, Luis Saldana, WIR Store, Maria Carrion, Rey Belardo, Angela Rivers, Diana Rivera, Carmen Melendez, Viola and family, the Rentas family, the Ayala family, the Alamo family, the Navarro family, the Rodriguez family, the Felix family, Mon Bijou family; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

A viewing will be held at 10 a.m. and a funeral service at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 28, at Iglesia El Triunfo, Mon Bijou.
