Ashton Alfred Richardson died on May 6.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan "Mamie" Richardson; and son, Estilyn Richardson.
He is survived by his daughters: Ermine Richardson, Verna Richardson and Rhona Richardson- Southwell; sons: Shirvin “Smiley” Richardson, Robin Richardson, Kenneth Richardson, Leslie Richardson, Morgan Richardson and Grantley Richardson; and grandchildren: Ellis Richardson, Joshua Richardson, Dilda Richardson, Nellie Richardson, Kimerlee Richardson, Cathy Richardson, Morgan Richardson Jr., Sheryn Richardson, Emerald Richardson, Jair Richardson, Jerdel Richardson, Jervain Richardson, Asa Richardson, Naomi Southwell, Trai Southwell and Jamdi Richardson.
He is also survived by great-grandchildren: Shyheim Richardson, Shylequaa Garray, Shhkwooni Richardson, Shh’koi Benjamin and Chace Danielson; daughters-in-law: Windie Richardson Sandy Richardson, Brittney Richardson and Edith “Joyie” Richardson; nieces: too numerous to mention; nephews: too numerous to mention; cousins: too numerous to mention; special friend, Matile Solomon; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a repast at the Methodist Education and Outreach Complex.
There will be a viewing held at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 20, at Ebenezer Methodist Chapel, No. 95 Richmond. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
