Zilla P. Etienne Dies

Zilla P. Etienne died on March 5.
She was predeceased by her spouse, Lenard Etienne; mother, Matilda Morancie St. Rose; father, Emanuel St. Rose; daughters: Cynthia Etienne and Bernice Juanita Etienne (Miami); and cousin, Cecilia Larocque.
She is survived by her sons: Donald Peter Etienne, Desmond John Etienne, Carlton Etienne (Dominica) and Francis Etienne (Dominica); daughter-in-law, Yvonne Sobers Etienne; granddaughters: Jay-Marie Brandford and Natasha Etienne; grandsons: Bruce Dimbas and Anthony Dimbas; great-grandchildren: Kiajah, Sekani and Journey Dimbas, Chelsea and Alyssa Frances, Anthony Massiah, Johny, Anysia, Janeel, Jay Jr., Jaylisia, and KJ; and cousins: Olive Gertrude Lecointe Bernadet, Britney Parillo, Jude Anna Smith, Zakkiyah and Zaynah Larocque, and many more cousins in Dominica, Canada, New York and England too numerous to mention.
She is also survived by close friends: Michael, Edilia Lawrence, Olga and Renie Romain, Vilicia Philbert, Avarive Xavier, Jenora George, Daphney Edward. After Church Meeting Group, Mr. and Mrs. Thompson, Elford and Wilma Christmas, Lilling, Ms. Lilian Hansen, Ms. Williams, Ms. Antonete, Celestine Clovis and Ruth Daniels; special mother to: Wayne Peterkin, Wendy, Sean, Shannon, Shelley, Steve Babra, Aj and Steve J. Lomnes, and Erica Pameiamchi; neighbors: Dale Cooper, Stanley Jacob his deceased wife, Ini; Ten Sleepless Knights; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing at 9 a.m. and a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 18, at St Ann’s Catholic Church, Barren Spot. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
