Elizabeth Gomez Montanez Dies at 76

Elizabeth Gomez Montanez, also known as "Dona Eliza," of Estate Anna’s Hope, died on Saturday, Dec. 13, at her residence. She was 76 years old.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Leida Gomez; and great-granddaughter, Nayelie Soto.
She is survived by her daughter, Jasmin E. Ramos Montanez; sisters: Gloria, Lydia, Elba and Lucia Gomez; brother, Jose Juan Gomez; grandchildren: Yania Santiago, Jesus Montanez, Yesenia Figueroa, Jasmin, Jaimelee, Jayne, Ismael and Emanuel Ramos, Reynaldo and Angel Julio Osorio, and Elizabeth Quinones; great-grandchildren: Leida and Jose Boulogne III, Ezekiel Parrilla, Charelys Soto, Karla, Aaliyah and Kayla Torres, Destiney, Maya, Mekayla, Ke’Mani, Ke’Mari and Damian Montanez, Tyriq Carty, Guarionex Rojas, Karla Figueroa and Alice Holder; former husband, Angel Montanez; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
Tributes will begin at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 23, at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
