John William McKee Dies at 81

John William McKee John William McKee, also known as "Mack," of Lowry Hill was born in Benton County Miss., on Aug. 18, 1933 and died on Oct. 24, 2014, at the Juan Luis Hospital and Medical Center. He was 81 years old.
He is survived by his loving wife, Glenda Mckee; two children; one granddaughter; four great-grandchildren; and family and friends on St. Croix and in Memphis, Tenn., too numerous to mention.
McKee was a highly-decorated, retired Marine with two purple hearts and numerous medals. McKee was also the head chef and owner of Binnacle Restaurant until 1989 when it was destroyed by Hurricane Hugo.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Disabled American Veterans in his name to: Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301.
