Delores Eunice Lake Dies at 87

Delores Eunice Lake Delores Eunice Lake of Estate Sion Hill died on Sept. 1. She was 87 years old.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Lake Sr.
She is survived by her daughters: Eileen Pryce, Dulcie (Pam) Joseph and June Lake; sons: Keithley “Cold One” Sheppard, Tyrone “Money,” Jerome “Dit,” Clifford “Manya,” Robert “Wundun” and Clarence “Snake” Lake; and grandchildren: David Isaac, Dawn Barnard, Glen Barnard, Melvin, Calvin, Kevin “Tigan,” Sheppard, Erica and Alrica Sheppard, Tracy and Karen Joseph, Tyrone Jr., Jamal, Kimberly Lake, Jerissa and Jadeysa Lake, Nicole, Cerise and Lakendra Lake, Robert II and Jordan Lake, Clarence III, Darrell, Chantelle and Jamel Lake.
She is also survived by great-grandchildren: David Jr. and Dwayne, Isaac, Kadeem Mussington, Keleah and Kelani Sheppard, Jade and Taylor Falcon, Tracy and Jasmine Joseph, Tyrone III, Tyrone IV, Janaya, Tyannah, Tyssanne and Milana Lake, Jade Young, Yasmine and Jayla Bolen, and Santana Streeter; sister, Delores Christian (ANU); brothers: Steven Christian (ANU) and Sylvester Williams (Fla.); nieces: Evelyn Watkins and Petronella Davis; and nephews: Rolston, Buck, Manuel, and Steadroy Davis, Junie, Keith and Sylvester Williams Jr., St. Clair Challenger and Roy Weston.
Other survivors include daughters-in-law: Joy Sheppard, Gwendolyn, Lisa and Euclin Lake; sons-in-law: Norris Pryce and Robert Joseph; granddaughters-in-law: Coleen Barnard and Leah Sheppard; godchild, Everton Davis; special friends: Florel McFarlande, Glenfield Barnard, Joyce Ryan, Lorenzo Merchant, Annie Gonzalez, Juliana Garcia, Lynn Simon, Wesley Browne, Rita Wilkes and family, Camilita London, Edde Joseph, Diane Lafferty, Sgt. Richard Matthew, Honorable Baldwin Spencer, staff and friends at Human Services, the Trinity Wesleyan Holiness Church family; as well as other cousins, relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held at 10 a.m. and a funeral service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 13, at Beeston Hill Wesleyan Holiness Church, Christiansted. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
