Charles Alexander Emanuel Dies at 88

Charles Alexander Emanuel Charles Alexander Emanuel, also known as “Teach,” "Mr. E,” “Charlie” and “Chuck,” of Estate La Reine and formerly of Estate Peter’s Rest died on Sunday, June 15. He was 88 years old.
He was preceded in death by his spouse, Etherlin M. Thomas-Emanuel; mother, Chrystalia Farrington Emanuel; father, Charles Henry Emanuel; sisters: Inger Emanuel Raymond, Helen K. Emanuel-Sackey, Asta L. Emanuel, Dorothy I. Emanuel-McBean and Mary Emanuel-Rawlins; brother, James Camille Emanuel; nieces: AnnaRita Beck, Helen Jacobs and Winona Sackey-Joshua; and nephews: George, Charles and Alvis Raymond, Maurice Dana “Pumpa” Emanuel, John A. Adams and Raymond “Liston” Martin.
He is survived by his daughters: Jeanette A. McAlpin-Felix (step), Lenore M. Emanuel-Parker and Monica T. Emanuel; sons: Gerard M. and Desmond N. Emanuel; granddaughters: Donna Felix-Miller, Debra Felix-Abel, Asha M. Parker- Miller, Thema and Rukiya Emanuel, Talibah Morris, Khalifa, Menen, Hadassah Emanuel-Jurich, and Sarah and Safarah Emanuel; grandsons: Pedro, Marc and Orlando Felix, Siwatu, Kenya and Jonah Emanuel, and Jelani Osborne; and sister, Cleone Emanuel Jacobs.
He is also survived by nieces: Sylvia Martin, Eudelta McBean, Marion Raymond-Smith, Muriel Raymond-Rhymer, Patrice Raymond, Deanna L. Sackey, Myrtle Adams and Laura McBean; nephews: Alvin McBean, Bernard McBean, Ira Raymond, Aubrey Raymond, Augustine Beck Jr., Rael Sackey, Larry, Raymond and Charlie Emanuel, and Maurice McBean; and daughters-in-law: Marjorie and Claudia Emanuel.
There are many other relatives and friends who are not mentioned. They are all greatly appreciated for their kind words and generous assistance.
There will be a viewing held at 10 a.m. followed by a Celebration Service, which will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 28, at the City of Refuge Worship Center, formerly known as the Holy Ghost Deliverance Ministries. Cremation will follow (for the immediate family).
Professional funeral services are entrusted to James Memorial Funeral Home Inc.
