Wellington Shaheliy Pennyfeather Dies at 34

Wellington Shaheliy Pennyfeather Wellington Shaheliy Pennyfeather of Estate Williams Delight died on Feb. 1 at the Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital and Medical Center. He was 34 years old.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Kevin Pennyfeather; paternal grandfather, Dalwin Pennyfeather; nephew, Hansen Pennyfeather; uncle, Ira Samuel Jr.; godparents: Marion Wilson and Phillip Hunt.
He is survived by his mother, Mona P. “Shelly” Sackey; father, Honsen W.C.“Shaheliy” Penny feather; maternal grandparents: Leon Sackey and Jean Prince; paternal grandmother, Mary Pennyfeather; daughter, Shaniah Pennyfeather; sons: Shaheliy Pennyfeather, JaQuan Pennyfeather, Amar Pennyfeather, Shahiel Pennyfeather and Onyx Pennyfeather; sisters: Sheniba Pennyfeather, Shaneka Pennyfeather-Armstrong and Sherishma Pennyfeather; and brothers: Anandi Pennyfeather, Hansen Pennyfeather, Dalwin Pennyfeather, Aneff Pennyfeather, Shaquille Pennyfeather, Johnny Pennyfeather, Jahni Pennyfeather and Shahely Pennyfeather.
He is also survived by sister-in-law, Ashley Pennyfeather; brother-in-law, Keino Armstrong; nieces: Na’Zirah Armstrong, Na’Kia Armstrong, Na’Kaerah Armstrong, Shaylaah Henry, Nilsa Pennyfeather, Layla Pennyfeather, Aniya Pennyfeather, Amrey Williams, Ashayla Williams, Annyah Williams and Sativa Harris; nephews: Shelden Omalho, Aniby Pennyfeather, Jaquille Pennyfeather, Hanandi Pennyfeather, R’Mani Ramsingh and A’Jahnikai Harris; and aunts: Lorna Samuel, Donna “Asheba” Samuel, Janice Sackey, Sonia Sackey, Brenda Sackey and Vanda Jackson-Pennyfeather.
Other survivors include uncles: Lionel Sackey, Floyd Sackey, Oneal “Breed” Pennyfeather, Adolphus “Chucky” Pennyfeather, Alton “Dirty” Pennyfeather and Dalwin “Bobby” Pennyfeather; godparents: Judith Samuel, Maude Roberts, Joseph “Joe Kaya” Roberts and Gary “Shaboo” Ritter; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing held at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 18, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Interment will be at Frederiksted Cemetery.
