Luis Enrique Rivera Dies at 54

Luis Enrique Rivera
Luis Enrique Rivera, also known as "Wallde" or "Henry," of LBJ Gardens died on July 20.
He is survived by his father, Rosendo Rivera Gomes, companion, Tania Renne Tann; son: Khasim Rivera; adopted sons: Yan Carlo and Andy; stepdaughter, Nikita; grandchildren: Khasim Jr. and Kiyana Rivera; daughter-in-law, Eleanor Green Rivera; sisters: Eva, Felicita, Maria, Medelicia, Elva Rivera and Andrea Jensen; adopted sisters: Marilyn Rivera, Alma Roberts and Sandra Cartier; sisters-in-law: Marie, Luz and Linda Rivera; brothers: Rosendo Jr. (Rochy), Luis Antonio (Atiba) and Luis Alfredo (Freddy); adopted brother, Reynaldo Navarro; brothers-in-law: Richard Jensen and Wayne Horton; aunts: Guelina, Delia, Crucita and Juanita Rivera; and uncles: Marciano and Marcialine Rivera.
He is also survived by nieces: Dee Dee, Dalia, Jocelyn and Glenda Encarnacion, Ileana, Lillian, Mayjay, Makida, Ingrid, Makeda, Nakia and Aziza Rivera, Aida L. Belardo-Faucher, Annalisa Jensen, Karishma David, Lisy and Glenda Felix; nephews: Junito, Rupert, Orlando, Osei and Adika Rivera, Roberto, Johnny, Nicholas, David, Tomas, Alberic and Jerry Encarnacion and Omari Horton; great nieces and nephews too numerous to mention; special friends: Sinclair Williams, staff of Department of Housing Parks and Recreations, Etta Todman, Ganash, Motor, Bongo and Reeza, Kari, Hendricks family, Roger Adams, Crook, Yankee Tamaka, Ralph, Muncho, Granger, Zeco, Glady Perez, Nigel Rollins, Blaster, Reynaldo and Mrs. Augusta, and Joshua Family; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will take place at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 31, at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Kingshill Cemetery.
The family requests that all who attend wear festive colors.
