Irwin Alexander Springer Sr. Dies at 82
Irwin Alexander Springer Sr. of Estate La Grange died on Jan. 20, at the Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Albertha Willie Springer; daughters: Louise Springer, Janice Springer-Watts, Laverne Springer- Manifold and Everette Springer-Platt; sons: Irwin A Springer Jr., Anthony A. Springer, Keith A. Springer and Kenneth Springer; 22 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Portia Bramble-Springer; son-in-law, Marion C. Platt III; sisters: Paulen Jacobs, Ina Johnnes, Marilyn Huggins, Elnor Wilson and Roselyn Eastman; brothers: Lloyd Springer, Wilfred Springer and Alexander Springer; special friends: Nitaliene Phillip, Thelma Petersen-Springer, Rochell Gomez; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing held at 9 a.m. and a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 26, at the Kingshill Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
