Gerard Ignatius Doward Jr. Dies at 38

Aug. 1, 2007 - Gerard Ignatius Doward Jr., also known as "Ziggy," of Estate Two Williams died on July 30. He was 38 years old.
He is survived by his mother, Beryl I. Doward; father, Gerard I. Doward Sr.; daughters: Tenisha Rema Doward and Amaya Renisha Doward; and sons: Johonathon Gerard Doward, Amani Ignatius Doward, Jermande Milton Doward and Milton Gerard Doward. He is also survived by grandparents: Violet A. and Joseph Francois; sister: Maria C. Doward; brothers: Howard Boutte, Michael A. Boutte, Dwayne A. Doward, Kristian G. Doward, and Dameon G. Doward; aunts: Daphne Davis, Anna Doward, Eglantine Weeks, Maude Williams, Alicia Florence, Lauretta Petersen, Myrtle Green, Sandra Petersen, Amonteen Doward and Dorothy Urgent- Petersen; uncles: Donald Petersen, Melvin Petersen, Clement and Vincent Doward; special friend, AnnMarie Wong; and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held from 10-11 a.m., on Monday, Aug. 6, at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church, to be followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m., at the church. Interment will follow at the private family cemetery No. 52 Estate Whim, Frederiksted.
The family requests that festive colors be worn at the service.
Professional services are entrusted to James Memorial Funeral Home Inc.
