Funeral Service is Monday for George W. Williams Sr.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday for George W. Williams Sr., 77, who died Friday, Oct. 8. A viewing at 10 a.m. will directly precede the service. Both will be held at the Hope Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
Williams is survived by his spouse, Leatha Williams Foster, daughters Delita Williams Jacobs, Annette Williams Jacobs, Shirlene Williams Taylor, Corine Williams, George Williams Jr. ; grandchildren Ife Jacobs, Isoke Jacobs, Layla Jacobs, Jollivette Jacobs, Richards, Jelani Jacobs, Jamil Newton, Cleo Taylor, Kwame, Kasim and Gyasi Williams; great grandchildren Jahnait Harris, Jahmil Harris, Salihah Webb, Jelani Jacobs Jr. and Prince Zakai Jacobs; nieces Latoya Benjamin, Leah Benjamin, Nicole Christian, Debby Williams, Loleen Christian, Leila Benjamin, Lezlie Phillip, Lorna Elcock and Rhea Elcock; special nephews Elroy Edwards, Errol Richards Jr. Ejna Edwards, Dennis Peter and Lionel Benjamin; daughter-in-saw Kenya DeJesus, sons-in-law Ira Jacobs Jr. and Darwin Richards; sister-in-law Mary Foster, special friends Myrtle and Clarence Gaskin, Ruthlin Sexius; special cousin Sonia Macavoy; cousin Sonia Martin and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
Williams was surrounded by family when he died at his home in Estate Sion Farm on St. Croix.
Internment will take place at Kingshill Cemetery.
