On Sunday June 20, the Virgin Islands Olympic Committee will host Olympic Day at the Fort in Christiansted. The event will begin at 2 p.m. and will feature demonstrations of Olympic sports by the over 20 federations that make up the VIOC. The day will culminate in a two-mile walk/run at 4 p.m.
Everyone is invited to participate in the walk/run, and parents are encouraged to bring children to the demonstrations.
Entry into the walk/run is $15 before the race and $20 the day of race registration. Entry forms can be filled out at Stamina Sports, located in the old Bingo Building. Entry for children will be discounted.
